Some good players open or splay their elbows as they swing back, but THEY
all close and keep them together on the downswing. This opening they do is
actually a fault and you are better by far to work on keeping them
connected throughout the backswing. A good example to watch would be Boo
Weekly - his backswing is faultless, his elbows stay so close together all
the way through the swing which allows him to really up free his wrists.
