David, do the hands apply any concious 'hit'? Or is it just the momentum of the body turn that creates the energy? (i.e. hinging/unhinging the wrists) The only problem I find is that with 'hitting' with the hands, if I am a little tense, I really rob myself of power when I tighten up. Some of your student look so fluid when they swing, I just wondered what the key to that fluidity is?
