STAGE 3,
SHORT GAME

Our Swingbuild Golf Short Game Clinic will let you develop and adapt the techniques you learnt in Stage 1, so you will have the ‘killer’ short game you have always wanted.

The short game is the area of golf that is most overlooked and yet probably the area where most improvement can be quickly made. Our short game clinic will give a basic understanding of and how to implement the correct swing mechanics and static fundamentals of Swingbuild into Putting, Chipping, Pitching and Bunker play.

Along with exercises to learn the techniques required we also have developed numerous practice routines which will help the golfer progress their short game to a far higher standard than they ever thought possible.

  • > Clinic begins with an introduction to the Swingbuild philosophy and correct swing mechanics and an explanation of how these apply to short game.
  • > 2½ hours of intensive Swingbuild Short Game instruction beginning with putting there is a explanation and demonstration of the correct techniques followed by individual coaching and practise, finishing with a demonstration and explanation of practice routines.
  • > During all of the Short Game instruction periods video footage is taken which will be used to explain and reinforce the exercises and show the participants the movements that they are capable of making.
  • > The next element is Chipping, this will follow the same basic format as the Putting element but with even more emphasis given to the practice routines.
  • > The learning of these two elements again follows the same basic format as the Putting and Chipping parts with the addition of the same Swingbuild philosophy and swing mechanics found in Stage 1
  • > The same static fundamentals are used along with individual practice and coaching of the half swing exercise, the difference in set up procedures for pitching and bunker are explained and demonstrated and then the two elements are worked on in a controlled and progressive manner. The session ends with practice routines given for both elements.
